The Parish Council is the advisory board for the parish community, working in cooperation with the pastor and other parish staff in setting strategic direction, policies, goals and objectives for the parish. Members serve a three-year term. If you are called to participate, please prayerfully consider this important work.
CHRIST RENEWS HIS PARISH (CRHP)
Christ Renews His Parish emphasizes continued growth in the Catholic Christian life. CRHP is a two-day retreat with time for listening, prayer, fellowship and celebration of our loving God and Savior. Women’s and men’s weekends are held separately. Contact Cathy Carey at 636-946-4626 or
EMAUS RETREATS - HISPANIC MINISTRY
Our Hispanic Ministry hosts Emaus retreats to allow parishioners a time to grow in their faith and in their faith communities.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS
RCIA is the journey through which adults receive instruction in the teachings of the Catholic faith. Current parishioners are needed to serve as sponsors for RCIA candidates. Sessions are held weekly from September through June. Contact Sr. Raquel Ortez at 636-946-2916 or .
This wonderful opportunity to be active and serve our parish in a fun atmosphere. We need all the help we can get! Thank you to all those who have helped in years past and are here to sign up again. Please help recruit others from our awesome faith community to help make our fish fries more successful each and every year!
The Parish Picnic is the first weekend in October. This total parish effort in the fall is one of the primary fundraisers for the parish, as well as the individual organizations taking part in its planning and execution. This ministry needs more people because it is a large event for our parish and everyone’s help is needed.
ST. CHARLES YOUNG ADULTS
St. Charles Young Adults is open to anyone in their 20’s or 30’s. We are a ministry for young people to come together to build community, grow in faith and share life with one another. Find us on Facebook. To be added to our email list, email Kristin Williams at .
This biennial fundraiser consists of a Silent and Oral Auction with items donated by local businesses, parishioners, and others in our community. It is a wonderful time to raise money for the parish, enjoy an elegant evening of delicious food and fellowship, and take home treasured items at the same time.
Held annually since 1995 and now named in honor of Joe Hensley, one of the original organizers, the profits from this fun day directly benefit the programs and services offered at our parish. The entry fee includes the cart, greens fee, lunch, refreshments, dinner, and cash prizes. Contact Mike Murray at .

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
SVDP assists people within our parish boundaries in need of food, utility and rental assistance, medicine, housing and miscellaneous services. We are funded, to a great extent, by the generous contributions of our parishioners. If you would like to assist this ministry, call our hotline at 636-925-1616.
The Prayer Tree has over 175 parishioners who pray for your intentions. Prayer requests are emailed to prayer tree members as they are received so that prayers can be lifted up in a timely manner. Contact Ann Tollefson at 636-928-2970 to join the prayer tree or submit a Prayer Request or .
ST. PATRICK CENTER CASSEROLES
One casserole per month is prepared in your home to be sent to the St. Patrick’s Center in St. Louis to help feed the homeless. Casseroles are frozen, so they can be brought to the church office any time during the work day, or early on the Friday morning that they are delivered. Contact Mary Dean Glosier at .
Volunteers are needed to help serve a meal to those less fortunate in our own area. The kitchen, sponsored by the Salvation Army, is set up at North 4th Street and Emmons in North St. Charles near Highway 370 to serve two meals a day, five days per week, with Borromeo serving on Mondays.

Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual potential; relate to others; develop values to guide their actions; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
VBS helps children learn about our Catholic faith while building a lifetime of memories and friendships. We make crafts, sing, make and share snacks, and play games, Bible stories, Scripture verses and People of Faith all while learning about God’s great love and the gift of eternal life. It lasts five weekdays in June and children attend three and a half hours each day.
