Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.
Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years of age. Boys who are older than 10, or who have completed the fifth grade, can no longer join Cub Scouting, but they may be eligible to join the Boy Scouting or Venturing program.
Our pack normally meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Additionally, individual dens meet between 1 to 3 times per month (at the discretion of the den leader).
Serving with the Cub Scouts gives the rare opportunity to watch independence and leadership develop in our youth while having fun and spending quality time with them.
The Cub Scouts could always use more volunteers to allow us to reach more scouts and to provide sufficient leadership for our various service, conservation, fundraising, and outdoor activities.
