GROUNDSKEEPING

We try to keep the grounds looking good by cutting the grass, trimming the shrubs and raking the leaves. And we are always in need of new people to help with this tremendous task.

PARISH COUNCIL

The Parish Council is the advisory board for the parish community, working in cooperation with the pastor and other parish staff in setting strategic direction, policies, goals and objectives for the parish. Members serve a three-year term. If you are called to participate, please prayerfully consider this important work.

EL CORO (HISPANIC MUSIC ENSEMBLE)

LIFELINE

Come spend the last Tuesday of each month with the Lord through Eucharistic Adoration, praise music, and inspirational words. 7-8 p.m. Contact Barb Bott at 636-947-3939.

CHOIRS

Serving in the choir ministry is a gift to give to yourself. Our choir is a community within the larger parish family, sharing the bond of music. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place generally on the third Monday of each month, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. with Benediction at 6 p.m. Parishioners are encouraged to spend a few quiet moments with our Eucharistic Lord in prayer. Contact Bill Kish at williamkish@icloud.com.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS

RCIA is the journey through which adults receive instruction in the teachings of the Catholic faith. Current parishioners are needed to serve as sponsors for RCIA candidates. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

PARISH PICNIC

The Parish Picnic is the first weekend in October. This total parish effort in the fall is one of the primary fundraisers for the parish, as well as the individual organizations taking part in its planning and execution. This ministry needs more people because it is a large event for our parish and everyone’s help is needed.

DINNER AUCTION

This biennial fundraiser consists of a Silent and Oral Auction with items donated by local businesses, parishioners, and others in our community. It is a wonderful time to raise money for the parish, enjoy an elegant evening of delicious food and fellowship, and take home treasured items at the same time. 

GOLF TOURNAMENT

Held annually since 1995 and now named in honor of Joe Hensley, one of the original organizers, the profits from this fun day directly benefit the programs and services offered at our parish. GRIEF MINISTRY (SEASONS OF HOPE)

MEALS IN TIMES OF CRISIS

PRAYER SHAWLS

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

SVDP assists people within our parish boundaries in need of food, utility and rental assistance, medicine, housing and miscellaneous services. TRANSLATING HISPANICS

MINI VINNIES

Our 7th graders get a taste of serving others as a mini branch of our Society of St. Vincent de Paul through food collections and other community service events.

PRAYER TREE

The Prayer Tree has over 175 parishioners who pray for your intentions. Prayer requests are emailed to prayer tree members as they are received so that prayers can be lifted up in a timely manner. ST. PATRICK CENTER CASSEROLES

One casserole per month is prepared in your home to be sent to the St. Patrick’s Center in St. Louis to help feed the homeless. Casseroles are frozen, so they can be brought to the church office any time during the work day, or early on the Friday morning that they are delivered. SOUP KITCHEN

Volunteers are needed to help serve a meal to those less fortunate in our own area. The kitchen, sponsored by the Salvation Army, is set up at North 4th Street and Emmons in North St. Charles near Highway 370 to serve two meals a day, five days per week, with Borromeo serving on Mondays.

VISITING THE SICK & HOMEBOUND

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

VBS helps children learn about our Catholic faith while building a lifetime of memories and friendships. We make crafts, sing, make and share snacks, and play games, Bible stories, Scripture verses and People of Faith all while learning about God’s great love and the gift of eternal life. It lasts five weekdays in June and children attend three and a half hours each day.
